CLUBFEET

We'd love to introduce you to Australian band Clubfeet and their "Gold on Gold" album (7.7 in Pitchfork). This is one of those albums that you'll listen to and wonder why you hadn't heard it before. These five handsome gents just finished an amazing run of dates in New York and LA and they were the #3 most blogged band on the Hype Machine two weeks ago.   Their new single "Last Words" has been remixed by indie dance remixer de jour RAC and French funkateer Dimirti From Paris as well as London's hip nu-disco outfit The C90s. Be one of the early ones on this great band.

ELI ESCOBAR

Through a steady release of original productions and remixes, Plant Music’s Eli Escobar has emerged as one of house music's biggest talents. Last year, he enlisted Amanda Blank for the gorgeous "Love Thing" EP which featured the massive "Love Thing" Part 2 re-work by our dear departed friend DJ Mehdi.   Since then, Eli has been enlisted to give the Escobar treatment to records by Holy Ghost! (whom he is touring with this Fall), Jessica 6 and Modular's Bag Raiders. Recently, Plant released the ridiculously catchy "Desire" which featured Jessica 6's Nomi Ruiz on vocals.

The Glass "Washed Up" This is the new single by The Glass with remixes by Todd Terry, Jetlag (Ole and Andy Rourke of The Smiths), Black Russian (Rok One and Mike Dextro) and France's Mikix The Cat. The original is a vocal punk-funk odyssey and the remixes take us to the house. Coming this winter on Plant Music.
