"Ice-T" layers vintage claps over a classic, hands-in-the-air vocal hook that flows along to coils of synth and bass, while "Kool Aid" is weighed down with a heavier, peak time bass groove. Prince Club | Made To Play The breakthrough Scotsman Gum Me (aka Grum) is back with his '80s tinged electro EP, "Burnin / Tonite." "Burnin" starts the release off with cleverly fused bit-crushed elements and chopped vocals with a melody line that could easily be blasted from the tape deck of a '80s Countach on South Beach. "Tonite" keeps true to the theme of the release with electrodisco-panache that would be comfortable calling any dance floor home. Gum Me | Flamingo Recordings "This generation... rules the nation" is the mantra that underpins Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike's collaborative debut on Size; one that will be surely be heard chanted on dance-floors around the world. Gary Beck | Soma Records "Morning Caffeine" is the debut Mobilee release by Poker Flat mainstay Martin Landsky, and it's 100% red-hot. Title track "Morning Caffeine" is both a dark and uplifting tune incorporating a slightly twisted loop, which continues to build throughout the track. "Ain't Nobody's" demonstrates Martin's musical diversity with a cut full of warm, dreamy vibes perfectly suited for afterhours. "Origin" comes with an epic, synth-heavy vibe. Filtered, impeccably programmed drums and a persistently padding groove kick on a big system. "Freed" is more of a heads-down jam but comes complete with wicked steady momentum and mood altering sounds. Dosem | Tronic Argy serves up old school Balearic house as an ode to early '90s Ibiza. The EP contains 4 huge dancefloor bombs, which are synth riff heavy with chord stabs and lots of b-lines.
