Juan began his career in music at the Western Australian Conservatorium of Music, where he studied a Double Major in Classical Piano (Teaching) and Voice (Performance). Whilst studying, he coached gymnastics at night to pay his way though College. This led Juan to coaching full-time and eventually owning his own High Performance Centre for two years. Juan was the Director of the Womens Gymnastics Program, as well as the Choreographer and Music editor for the high performance centre. During this stage, he also began to compete in Sport Aerobics. This led Juan to relocate to Sydney via Adelaide to train full-time with the national coaches. During his last weeks in Adelaide, Juan had met DJ JoSH, who plays an instrumental part of taking up the passion for DJing. And Sydney is where Juan started developing his thoughts for becoming a DJ, deciding to put his many years in studying music into use. Juan purchased is first pair of Technics 1200's in March 2007, and less than two years later, he has begun to see results, with his first major booking as the Highlight for Perth's Summer Cielo party, to be held in January 2010. Juan's musical styles are Progressive House, Uplifting Trance with a bit of an edge, US/Funky House, and Commercial Dance. Juan has played alongside the likes of Natasha Chamberlain, Man Lie, Murray Hood and Paul Goodyear at venues such as ARQ Sydney, Fringe Bar Paddington, The Bank Hotel, and The Midnight Shift...
My influences are Armin Van Buuren, DJ JoSH, Alex Taylor, Alex Foresta, Above and Beyond, Kate Monroe, Tiesto, Agnelli & Nelson, Juanjo Martin and Taito Tikaro to name a few... Genres I like and listen to are, Jazz, Funk, Pop, Soul, R&B, Rock, Metal, Classical... I have an eclectic taste...
